Theza 2020: Early career scholars present their groundbreaking research to the public.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS PROJECT HAS BEEN PUT ON HOLD DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.

Eight original projects that significantly contribute to  Jewish and Israel Studies will be chosen to participate in this project, which will take place for the second time after a successful launch in 2019.

Six scholars will participate in a professional workshop that will teach them to speak in front of a non-academic audience, and will present their work to the public at a TED-style event  at Beit Avi Chai in Jerusalem. The presentations will be in Hebrew. Participating Scholars will receive a stipend of 1500 ILS.

Two other projects will be processed for an animation movie and published on social networks online.
